Outdoor School - December 2019
Whole School
All our children participated in a range of festive activities, they created Christmas decorations from slices of wood using palm drills to drill holes to thread with ribbon and hang their decorations. Children in Key Stage 2 showed they could safety use a bow saw to cut their own slices of wood.
The children also searched the wood to find natural materials to make eco-friendly reindeer food.
Everyone enjoyed a hot chocolate made by Key Stage 2, who lit and sustained a fire to boil water in Kelly Kettles and toasted marshmallows to make s’mores.
The children recorded their new skills in their 'Wild Passports' and the day was ended with a festive treasure hunt.
