Christmas 2018
Christmas Play EYFS/Key Stage 1
Born in a Barn
This year’s Christmas play was called “Born in a Barn.”
The play was set in the special stable in Bethlehem and we learned about the story of the Nativity through the eyes of the animals in the stable.
We are very pleased with our new stage which we were able to buy with money raised at the School Gala.
We would like to thank all the people who came to support us and for all their kind and positive comments.
The children made us all very proud!
Christmas Party
On 19th December all the children enjoyed our Christmas party with lots of lovely food and games. There was a visit from Santa Claus too!
Christmas Café
We had a lovely Christmas café with our families on Tuesday afternoon. Key Stage 2 had baked a fantastic assortment of food with the help of Mrs Giles, Mrs Harrison and Mrs Smith. The food and hot chocolate were delicious. Everyone wore their Christmas jumpers and looked very festive.
We are delighted that so many of you came to support us - we may have to make this a yearly event. The money we raised has been split between Save the Children and school and will go towards our exciting visit to the Pantomime on 10th January. The “Chocolate Chuck” will be reappearing at the Gala—bigger and better!
